Honda rider Dani Pedrosa grabbed an sensational pole, smashing the Sepang circuit lap record in the early stages of Q2. Marquez joins his team mate in the first row with Rossi (Yamaha) beating his team mate Lorenzo at the final stages of session to take the final front row slot.
